NBL Commissioner Jeremy Loeliger said: “It’s great to have the NBL back and for fans everywhere to be able to watch both these games live as the preseason tips off. “These games are a significant first step as we finalise plans for the season. They will give us a chance to test our COVID safe protocols ahead of the season which is due to commence in mid-January.
“We will review the games and then work with our clubs to schedule more preseason games across December and January as they prepare for the start of the season. ” The games will feature NBL Next Star Josh Giddey and recent NBA player Isaac Humphries in their first hit-outs for the 36ers. Adelaide 36ers coach Conner Henry said: “It’s an honour to host the first preseason games ahead of the forthcoming season and we can’t wait to get out there in front of our fans. ” Brisbane Bullets coach Andrej Lemanis said: “It’s exciting to be back playing competitive games and the Sixers provide quality competition this early in our preseason. ” Attendances at both games will be capped at 50 per cent of venue capacity.
NBL to Live Stream Adelaide v BrisbaneThe Hungry Jack’s National Basketball League (NBL) preseason will tip off tonight when the Adelaide 36ers play the Brisbane Bullets. The 36ers and the Bullets will clash at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre at 7:30pm AEDT and at the Titanium Security Arena on Sunday at 2:00pm AEDT. Both games will be streamed live and free on NBL TV and the NBL’s Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Twitch channels.
