How do I adjust the crosshairs in CS 1.6?
I used to play CS:GO a lot, but that was a while ago. Recently, I felt like playing shooters again. However, I wasn’t sure if the latest version, CS2, would run smoothly on my old laptop. Also, I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy it for very long. So, I decided not to stress about it and try the classic, CS 1.6. I downloaded the client from https://csget.me/ , installed it, and joined a server. Everything works great, and the gameplay is smooth. There’s just one problem: the crosshair. In CS:GO, I was used to going to a special custom map in the workshop where I could easily choose the color, size, and style of the crosshair with just a few clicks. But here, the settings are limited. Could you tell me how to customize the crosshair in CS 1.6? Are there any similar maps or console commands?

CS 1.6 doesn't have special maps for customizing the crosshair, but you can easily do so through the console. You can change the size and color by default in the Options -> Multiplayer menu. For fine-tuning, open the console by pressing “~”. The command "cl_crosshair_size" changes the size (small, medium, or large), and "cl_crosshair_color" sets the color in RGB format. To prevent the crosshair from expanding while running, set cl_dynamiccrosshair to 0. The command cl_crosshair_translucent 1 will make the crosshair transparent.
